On the afternoon of September 16, 2020, in order to further promote the academic research and project reporting capabilities of young teachers, as well as the exchange of experiences among teachers, the Institute of Structural Health Management held an academic exchange in Conference Room 414 of the Lei Si Building. The meeting was presided over by Zhu Jianguo, President of the Institute, and all the teachers of the Institute and some teachers from the Department of Aesthetics participated in the event.

At this exchange meeting, Mr. Zhang Muyu, gave an academic report entitled "Institutional Damage Detection Based on Dynamic Response" and Mr. Li Jian gave an academic report entitled "Titanium fatigue crack expansion behavior, expansion mechanism and life prediction research". And then they put forward ideas for future research. Professor Luo Ying of the Institute first gave full recognition to the scientific research work of the two teachers, but at the same time said that the two teachers have obvious deficiencies and shortcomings in scientific research, requiring the two teachers to condense basic research, focus on research hot spots, dig deep research direction, and finally put forward that young teachers should have dreams, have a purpose and a plan for their own life.

The holding of the "Young Teachers Academic Exchange Conference" has further actively promoted the academic atmosphere of research and enhanced the academic exchanges among young teachers. In the future, the Institute will also hold various forms of scientific research activities to provide guidance and help for the scientific research growth of young teachers, to help young teachers quickly grow into the main force of scientific research.
