On September 10, 2020, at the invitation of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Luo Ying, director of the international joint research center of the Ministry of science and technology of our college, together with Professor Xu Boqiang, Professor Liu Jun, senior laboratory technician Liu Hongguang and Associate Professor Wang Ziping, participated in the academic seminar on flexoelectric theory and frontier application, one of the series activities of science and technology innovation month in Western China, held in Xi'an Jiaotong University. The harvest was quite fruitful.

More than 100 authoritative experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities and scientific research institutes were invited to conduct in-depth and extensive academic exchange on the hot issues in the field of flexoelectric materials. After the meeting, they visited the State Key Laboratory of mechanical structure strength and vibration of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Institute of aerospace and mechanics. This academic exchange is of great significance to promote the foreign exchange and cooperation of the Research Institute, promote the development of flexoelectric effect and related research fields, provide guidance for related teachers in the field of flexoelectric research, and expand the influence of mechanics discipline in our university.
