In order to further improve the scientific research level and strengthen the scientific research exchange of young teachers, the Institute of Structural Health Management has carried out the academic discussion meeting of young teachers. Jianguo Zhu, President of the Institute, Professor Wang Chengyuan of the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, and all young teachers of the Institute attended the meeting, which was presided over by Mr. Zhu Jianguo.
First of all, Jun Xia, Muyu Zhang and Wenlong Li reported on the main areas of personal research, ideas and measures of scientific research work, difficulties and emphasis of scientific research work, and research objectives respectively.Then, Professor Wang Chengyuan gave full encouragement to the development status of young teachers and their academic achievements, meanwhile according to the specific situation of each young teacher, he put forward suggestions such as opening ideas, expanding knowledge and focusing research directions in scientific research work, so as to strive for greater progress in scientific research.Finally, President Zhu Jianguo summarized the activity, saying that young teachers ought to strive to consolidate theoretical knowledge, pay attention to practical problems, communicate and cooperate more with peers, and gradually get closer to the research direction of the institute, thus contributing to the growth and development of the institute.
