Brief introduction of the keynote speaker:
Prof. Tong Liyong received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees from Dalian University of Technology in 1982 and 1985, and a doctorate in Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1988. Since 1995, he has worked in the School of Engineering of the University of Sydney, Australia. He was the Associate Dean of the School of Engineering of the University of Sydney, and was a professor of Dalian University of Technology and an adjunct professor of Harbin Institute of Technology.
He is mainly engaged in the design, analysis and testing of composite materials and smart structures, and the theoretical calculation and experimental analysis of structural strength, vibration and stability. He is an internationally renowned scholar in the field of computational mechanics and composite mechanics. He has published 2 English monographs and published a total of 177papers in international English journals, with a total number of citations of more than 6700 times. at present, he is the editor and reviewer of many international journals in the field of mechanics and materials. a great deal of cooperative research has been carried out with the United States Air Force, Boeing, Airbus and the Australian Research Council.
