From Feb 27th to Mar 4th, Prof. Fuh-Gwo Yuan from North Carolina State University commented on 16 declarationsof National Natural Science Foundation respectively on the basis of carefullyreading. Prof. Yuan and faculty staff put forward their own opinions from theaspects of form, topic, abstract, research goal and feasibility. Applyingteachers obtained benefit after communicating witheach other and stated that they would modify the applications with Prof. Yuan’ssuggestions to improve the quality and success of applications.

The faculty attaches great importance to theapplication for National Natural Science Foundation since its establishment.Prof. Yuan commented on the applications of our faculty for the first time. Sixapplications were approved and a total fee of 4,330,000 was granted.
