On April 23, 2012, delegation headed by Dr. Michael Wartell, Chancellor of Indiana University- Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) visited Jiangsu University (JU). President Yuan Shouqi cordially welcomed the delegation. Those who also attended the meeting included leaders or heads from International Office and Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics.

After brief introductions each, both parties signed cooperation agreement about the collaborative undergraduate program in civil engineering.

After the signing ceremony, both sides exchanged gifts. The delegation also visited JU’s Industry Center, library and teaching facilities.
