On the afternoon of March 7, 2012, academician Junliang Zhou was invited by UJS to give a lecture about the studyon anti-sliding stability of hydraulic structures on subbed soils. More than 50 teachers and graduate students of our faculty heard the lecture.

The lecture was held in the conference room 210 of our faculty. Dean Prof. Ying Luo gave a talk at the beginning of the lecture and then academician Junliang Zhou analyzed six problems existing inthe sliding stability design of buildings on the soil foundation in the present design specification for sluice and put forward some specific methods to solvethe problems.
