According to an official study some 200 million Chinesepeople, or 15 percent of the Chinese population, suffer from high bloodpressure. But only 30 percent know of their disease, while 25 percent seektreatment and just 6 percent control their high blood pressure. It’s quite importantto make people aware of its threats, to provide consulting services toresidents. Oct 7th, just before the National Hypertension Day, students fromthe Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, UJS propagandized the generalknowledge of hypertension in communities.
