2013 Jiangsu congress of mechanics, which was sponsored by Jiangsu society of theoretical and applied mechanics, was successfully held on Oct.25-27 at our university. More than 120 experts and scholars attended the meeting.

This congress was set three branch fields, and expects of each branch field exchanged their views about experimental mechanics, engineering mechanics, computational mechanics, geotechnical mechanics and so on.

The conference promoted the development of our mechanics discipline, expanded Jiangsu University’s reputation in some relevant research fields.
