The Engineering site II of SecondSino-foreign Postgraduate Forum of Jiangsu University was held in the 3rd report hall of Conference Centre on Oct. 29th, 2012. Organized by the office of students' affairs, graduate schoolof JU, Overseas Education College, and hosted by the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Mechanics, the Forum aimed at strengthening sino-foreign academic exchanges, cultivating students’ academic accomplishments. The Forum mainly focuses on engineering studies, attracted hundreds of teachers and students from different fields. Prof. Ronggui Liu, from the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Mechanics, Prof. Qiuyun Chen, from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and Prof. Changda Wang, from the School of Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering attended the Forum as honored guests, many other teachers and administrators are also presented.

At 2:00p.m. the Forum begun in the report hall. Adutwum Marfo, a PhD student from our faculty, performed the forum. Associate Prof. Wang Zhenbin,from the School of Food& Biological Engineering firstly delivered a lecture about “Ultrasound Application in Food Processing”. Lately, sevenstudent representatives successively brought their fully prepared reports concerning their own research subjects. During the tea break, the reporters gained valuable technical suggestions from our experts and exchanged their views with the presented students. In addition, presented members appreciated the Poster Exhibition, which were selected and sent by each Faculty.

At last, Prof. Ronggui Liu summarized and spoke highly of this forum and encouraged our students to take part in such activities in the future. The activity gave a platform for Chinese and overseas students to exchange, cooperate, compare with eachother. It will also surely enhance our students’ international communicate ability and create a harmonious campus environment.
