On Oct.28, 2011, at 3:30pm, academician Chunsheng Zhao was invited by our faculty to give a lecture on the development and application of the ultrasonic micromotors technology.

Chunsheng Zhao, born in Nov. 1938, is an academician of Chinese Academy of Science, a professor from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and an expert in mechanical engineering. He graduated from the department of Aircraft of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1961 and earned his doctorate degree in engineering mechanics from Paris Higher Mechanical Institute in 1984. In 2005, he was honored the academician of Chinese Academy of Science

Academician Chunsheng Zhao firstly introduced the development and status quo of domestic and overseas ultrasonic micromotors. Then he shared his feelings and experience about his life with our students and encouraged us to strive for our dreams in adversity. His lecture lasted more than 2.5 hours. He not only delivered professional knowledge to us but also communicated with us in spirits.
