On September 9th, academician Zhang Xigang, a famous bridge expert and national engineering designer made a report on the title of “Reflections on Technological Innovation in Bridge Engineering”.

Academician Zhang expounded the important position of technological innovation，analyzed the major national policies on technological innovation. Starting from national strategic demands, he analyzed the technological innovation in bridge engineering, pointed out the direction and tasks of technological innovation in bridge engineering.
